Things to see around Alaró

Alaró is home to a great attraction, the Castell d’Alaró, located on top of the mountain looking over Alaró. This amazing old fortress, offers panoramic views all over Majorca.

When in Alaró, you are pretty close to everything, but you’re going to need a vehicle of some kind, or very strong legs. Short drives from here, you should visit the Santuari de Lluc, or the city of Inca.

Every Saturday morning, a weekly market is held in Alaró, in the center square. This market is a great way to blend in with the locals, and maybe you’ll find an offer you can’t resist on leather goods or local produce. No matter what your intentions are, it’s a wonderful way to start the day, and to really feel the local atmosphere.
