The fortified parish church of Banyalbufar is situated just across from the town hall building
The parish church of Banyalbufar, was built during the 16th century to replace another church situated at a lower height, but destroyed by pirates.
Several modifications have given it its present appearance, with a single nave covered with barrel vault and divided into five sections; presbytery and four lateral chapels.
They emphasize a Mare de Déu del Rosal, the altarpiece of Sant Pere de Gaspar Oms dating from 1584, and the magnificent Baroque organ from the XVII century, that was brought from the old Dominican convent in Palma.
