Learn while you enjoy

The newly formed city council of Pollença, recently decided that a day celebrating the ancient prehistoric culture of Mallorca, was a good idea to give families a way to learn about the cultural heritage and history of Mallorca while enjoying a fun time together.

The prehistoric day, is a brand new initiative that aims to educate more tourists in the rich prehistoric heritage of Mallorca and Classical Greece.

Throughout the day, you can browse booths, workshops, tastings, theatre performances and craft stalls in Cala Sant Vicenc.

At 17:00 h, a special artisan workshop for children is held at Plaça de Sant Vicenç where the little ones will learn about ceramics of prehistoric times, their use and how to make tools.

Also, this is a great way to get to see the wonderful area of Cala Sant Vicenç nestled in between the dramatic cove formations of the Tramuntana mountains.
