Capdepera Street Arts Festival is about to return to the charming village in the northeastern corner of Mallorca after two years of break due to the pandemic. The festival which emerged in 2009, as an initiative to bring out the most diverse artistic disciplines and serve them in a fun and engaging way to the public.
The Streets Arts Festival of 2022 will happen between July 19 and 30, and you can look forward to a wide array of dance acts, circus performances, puppets, parades, visual arts, music performances and comedy. All of this will turn the medieval village into a colorful theater of joy.
Hundreds of artists of various genres will be ready to perform for you and show off their eminent skills. For tourists, this will be a great way to enjoy something different from the regular hotel entertainment and, at the same time, perhaps discover more of the cultural diversity of the island and the historical village of Capdepera.
This is the twelfth edition of Capdepera Street Arts Festival, which will commemorade the artistic talent of the municipality with a great parade performed by the pupils of the local dance schools.
The festival will include many fantastic performances that has gained great international recognition, with award and prizes at various fairs and festivals.
The Street Arts Festival is a free happening that is organized by Sa Xerxa for children’s and youth theater in the Balearic Islands.

A visit to the ethnological museum of La Granja in the mountain village of Esporles takes you on an interesting journey back in time to discover how life in mallorca was for the wealthy landowners and their servants. Sa Dragonera

Sa Dragonera is an island and protected nature reserve just off the coast of Sant Elm, Andratx. Almudaina Palace

The royal Almudaina Palace is closely linked to multiple epochs in the history of Mallorca. The ancient palace was built as the seat for the Moorish governor back in the 10th century, and was the first building in the city of Palma as we know it today.
