The Cala Santanyí beach has a length of 70 meter and a dept of about 100 meter. Mondragó Natural Park

Visit Caló des Moro

Es Pontas is the name of the curious rocky formation erecting from the water level between Cala Santanyí and Cala Llombards. It is a spectacular view and you can’t help but wonder how nature has created a such sculpture by itself.

Discover the old watchtowers around the coasts
Back during the 16th and 17th century, Mallorca is tormented by corsairs raiding the villages and taking hostages. To encounter these attacks, a number of watchtowers were erected on the cliffs around the coasts to warn the population whenever a threat was spotted. Many of these watchtowers are still standing as landmarks testifying to difficult times for the islanders. Every one of them is interesting to visit, some of them can be climbed and you can enjoy the views from the platform. Some of the nearby watchtowers are those of Torre Nova, sa Roca Fesa and Torre d’en Beu.

Public bus connections near Cala Santanyí
There is no bus stop in Cala Santanyí, the small and isolated location of the cove makes it nearly impossible for a bus to get here. Instead, you can walk to Cala Figuera (approx. 3.5 km) to catch line 503 going to Santanyí.
