The Cala Santanyí beach has a length of 70 meter and a dept of about 100 meter. Visit Santanyí

Santanyí is the biggest township in the area, a charming and interesting place to visit. Santanyí has an artistic touch to it making it a picturesque and fun place to see. Moreover, the town offers a number of local galleries, bars, restaurant and shops creating a lively scene every single day. On Wednesdays and Saturdays you can attend the local market in Santanyí and find good deals on everything from local fresh produce to leather goods and clothing. Last but not least, Santanyí offers  nice handful of points of interest to discover i.g. the old town gate and prison, the Saint Andrew church and medieval chapel of el Roser inside.

Back during the 16th and 17th century, Mallorca is tormented by corsairs raiding the villages and taking hostages. To encounter these attacks, a number of watchtowers were erected on the cliffs around the coasts to warn the population whenever a threat was spotted. Many of these watchtowers are still standing as landmarks testifying to difficult times for the islanders. Every one of them is interesting to visit, some of them can be climbed and you can enjoy the views from the platform. Some of the nearby watchtowers are those of Torre Nova, sa Roca Fesa and Torre d’en Beu.

Public bus connections near Cala Santanyí

There is no bus stop in Cala Santanyí, the small and isolated location of the cove makes it nearly impossible for a bus to get here. Instead, you can walk to Cala Figuera (approx. 3.5 km) to catch line 503 going to Santanyí.
