Road cyclists loves Sant Llorenç because of the huge network of country roads that passes the local areas out here.

During the summer (May – September), the popular holiday destination of Cala Millor becomes a mecca of joyful children, laughing families and friends enjoying each others company along the 2 kilometre wide coastline.

As of being a small town, Sant Llorenç does not offer a wealth of fancy restaurants, but a small selection of local and authentic eateries. One of the more interesting dining experiences, is the old flour mill, Moli den Bou, situated in the outskirts of Sant Llorenç.

Every Thursday morning in the centre of the town, the weekly marked is held in Sant Llorenç.

At the marketplace, enjoy the intimate atmosphere of locals chatting and bargaining. You can also sample some of the delicious local produce such as juicy fruits or colourful vegetables. There’s also a selection of meats, cheeses and even live stock like chickens.

You may never have heard the name Sant Llorenç des Cardassar before, but you have have heard about the popular holiday destination, Cala Millor? Cala Millor is actually partly managed by Sant Llorenç, but the town itself is far from famous amongst holidaymakers.

However, Sant Llorenç is actually a famous place on Mallorca. The town was the first to have buildings in the regionalism stylistic, because of the influencial rector, Salvador Galmez, who had his house and other buildings reconstructed in this specific architectural style.

Sant Llorenç itself is a quiet and cozy little town in the Mallorcan heath. The main sources of income is tourism from Cala Millor and argriculture. The area was a big mill district, and today you can explore the many old flour mills when strolling around the sleepy streets.
