Casa Museu Joaquim Torrents Lladó, is the home of now deceased Catalan artist, Joaquim Torrents Lladó (1946-1993)
Lladó moved to Majorca back in 1960, and his love for the Majorcan nature was his big source of inspiration. Most of his works was inspired by either Majorcan nature, or Latin American for which he also had a passion for.
The house carries a clear imprint of having belonged to an artist, you notice that at a glace when you enter the property.
The first and second floor, still has the original wooden floors, as well as Lladó’s extensive collection of furniture from the 19th century. On the walls, you can enjoy all of Lladó’s works, everything from portraits to adverts.
Besides from the permanent exhibition, the museum also hosts a range of cultural events.
