In the neighboring area of Cala Llombards you will find the picturesque cove of Caló des Moro.

Walk to the old watchtower and lighthouse
On the cliffs above the entrance to the cove you will find the small lighthouse of Cala Figuera along with the ancient coastal watchtower of Torre den Beu. The watchtower was erected to guard against corsairs that taunted the island for centuries.

Go see the spectacular es Pontas rock
Es Pontas is an arched horseshoe shaped rock that erects out of the water just off the coast between Cala Figuera and Cala Llombards. The rock has probably been millions of years underway to have this unique shape which makes it a true wonder of nature. There is a vantage point on the cliffs, an obvious place to post updates to your instagram.
Enjoy the great network of country roads
Cycling is by far one of the most popular activities to do in Mallorca, and it’s no different in Cala Figuera. The fishing village is well connected to the extensive network of country roads leading about in the charming landscapes.

Cala Figuera does not have its own beach, but in return the neighboring town of Cala Santanyí has a lovely white sandy beach in a beautiful little bay, which can be reached on foot, by bike or by car in a short time. It is also possible to visit the beautiful nature reserve Parc Natural de Mondragó, which with its almost 800 hectare ecosystem, offers two romantic sandy beaches, wrapped in the most beautiful green vegetation.


Markets & Events
There is no weekly market in Cala Figuera, however, on Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a great market in the main town of Santanyí just 5-6 minutes away by car. At the market, you will find a vibrant atmosphere and hundreds of stalls occupying the streets of the town center.

Festes de Carme
Our Lady of Mount Carmel is protector of seamen, hence celebrated in the old port of Santanyí, Cala Figuera. The program has expanded throughout the years to include the entire week leading up to the actual day and, made it more interesting to both locals and tourists. On the day itself, you can experience a great procession at sea which is very beautiful.
