On the right side of the parish church of Lloret, on the same road, you find the the building that functions as the current Town Hall; it originates from a section of the former Dominican Monastery buildings, which were seized and sold in 1835 by the prime minister of Spain in order to raise funds to support the queen in the Carlisle War.
This intensively refurbished building has a facade with four floors. The main lintel doorway opens on the left side into a small space located next to the belfry of the church.
The Monastery building, dates back to the second half of the 17th Century, when the Dominicans expanded the existing premises; a cloister was added in the 18th Century. In 1835, the building was sold except for one wing and the hallway adjacent to the cloister.
