Magaluf or Magalluf has for many years been known as Mallorca’s party empire. The long streets full of bars and discos side by side attracts thousands of party-hungering people from all over the world for a treat they’ll never forget.

Best Things to do and see in Magaluf
Magaluf is a destination for all ages and interests. However, young people and families traveling with children will find this particular area more appealing. Magaluf offers a lively scene of numerous fun attractions, great beach and, an infamous nightlife that tends to be a bit wild. You may ask yourself how wild nightlife and families with children can coexist, but the truth of the matter is that they can. Typically, the nightlife in the streets starts around 10-11 pm, when most families with children have already withdrawn to their hotels. Moreover, all the party animals won’t be up until after midday, which leave the beach to the children from the morning hours.
HAVE FUN AT THE BEACH
There are many activity offers to go for at the beach of Magaluf, such as the riding the banana boat, the jet-powered flyboards and hoverboards or jet ski. If you’re more in to relaxing, rent a sun lounger and parasol for the day and listen to podcasts or music.

The beach of Magaluf is one of the best in the south-west part of Mallorca. The beach has a length of 1600 metres, with soft white sand and low water about 100 metres out. Karting Magaluf offers different types of karts for all ages and all levels. If you’re a real adrenaline junkie, try out the Pro experience with karts that can go up to 90 Km/h and feel the sensation of handling this powerful beast. But there is also regular go-karts for the younger or less experienced drivers to have a fun and exciting time at the circuit.

Obviously, Magaluf mainly caters to young people and families with kids, hence the many fastfood restaurants, British pubs and pizza places.
However, as earlier stated, Magaluf is changing – and so are the menu cards and dining options in this area.

November
Bonfire night in Magaluf
Every year, the British residents of Calvià organize a bonfire night by the beach in Magaluf. The event is a tradition celebrated in several places in Britain in memory of Guy Fawkes, whom tried to blow up the English Parliament on November 5, 1610.
For the bonfire event, steaks and sausages are grilled, activities are made for children and there are fireworks in the late evening hours.
FAQs
Magaluf is best visited from June to September, when both air and water temperatures are high. You can expect the air temperatures to reach 33°C and water temperatures 16°C .
As of 2022, it was decided that all-inclusive hotels in certain areas e.g. Magaluf could only serve 6 alcoholic drinks to guests per day.
Location and how to get to Magaluf
Going to Magaluf from Palma airport is quite simple really. By car this should only take you about 20 minutes, just head straight on MA-22 going towards Andratx.
Bus line A12 will take you from the airport in about an hour for as little as 5 euro.
