CRUISE THE COAST

From the small pier next to the beach, there’s a sightseeing catamaran leaving almost every hour that will take you around the coastline to see some stunning and mysterious coves where you can go for a swim in the most crystal clear water and see all the way to the bottom, even if that is 8-10 meters down. You can also go to the bottom of the catamaran and enjoy the colorful fish being lit by spotlights under the boat.

GO FOR A CHALLENGING AND FUN ADVENTURE AT JUNGLE PARK

Jungle Park is an outdoor adventure park situated in Santa Ponça. Your objective is to complete three courts by zip-lining, climbing, balancing, swinging and rappelling your way through the many obstacles and getting from treetop to treetop. Jungle Park also offer a mini adventure park for children. This is a great attraction for all ages in Santa Ponça.

Santa Ponça is home to a great 18-hole championship golf course with lots of challenges for any handicap. It was on this court that Severiano Ballesteros swung home the first price at the 1992 Balearic Open.

Santa Ponça is a well-developed tourist resort and, of course, you’ll find plenty of shops here. Shopping in Santa Ponça offers a relaxed mix of seaside charm and local character. Along the beachfront promenade, you’ll find a variety of shops selling souvenirs, beachwear and holiday essentials, alongside jewellery stores and fashionable clothing boutiques — perfect for an easy stroll between swims and sunbathing. 

If the local shopping scene doesn’t cut it for you, head to nearby Magaluf to find the larger shopping center Momentum Plaza. Here you can also enjoy the rooftop bar and infinity pool area for an extra experience.

The best idea, however, is a trip to Palma’s endless shopping streets. You can use bus 102 or 103 to get to Palma cathedral, and you’ll be right next to Passeig del Born where many high-end brands and Zara are located at. 

Market in Santa Ponça

For a taste of local life, don’t miss the traditional weekly market held every Saturday from 8:30 to 13:00 along Avinguda de Horts. Here, colourful stalls showcase freshly baked bread and cakes, aromatic herbs, seasonal local fruit and vegetables, as well as clothing and small accessories. This is a great way to stimulate all senses while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of people haggling.

Getting here from Palma airport is quite easy actually, you just follow the Ma-22 and Ma-1 freeways from the airport.
