The Katmandu theme park is situated in the neighboring area of Magaluf, which borders Palmanova. The Katmandu park is one of the best activities to do with children in Palmanova and Magaluf.

Although Palmanovas shopping scene isn’t quite as extensive as the neighboring town of Magaluf’s, you’ll still find a wide variety of small shops.

You’ll find a wide range of bars, along with some beach clubs in Palmanova. If you’re into clubbing, head to the adjacent town of Magaluf, a place famous for its wild nightlife.

Palmanova is located about 25 km (~15 miles) from Palma airport. A taxi here will cost about 32 euros.

Palmanova is safe. It is generally considered a good family destination, with a laid back atmosphere. The beaches are prized as Blue Flag for their cleanness.

Location and how to get to Palmanova

Palmanova is easily accessible from the freeway MA-22. From Palma airport, the drive by car is about 25 minutes. If you hire a taxi, you can expect to pay 35 euro.  

You can also use the airport connection A11, which will take you here for 5 euro. 

Bus lines 104, 105 and 107 connects Palmanova to Palma city.
