Foment Agricola is a stunning example of Modernism and Gothic Revival
Built in 1908, this was initially the headquarters of the public agricultural promotion agency, Foment Agricola.
Today it is owned by the savings bank institution, La Caixa.
This Modernist style building with Neo-Gothic attributes (Gothic Revival) was created by Miquel Salva Llompart (1855-1918), a local architect of Llucmajor whom was popularly known as “es Capella Canaves”, or “Chaplain Canaves”.
In the center of the building facade, you can see the relief of Llucmajor’s coat of arms, as well as the year of construction.

You will find the beautiful building at Plaça Espanya, 46.
