About the Sant Bonaventura convent

In 1608, the Franciscan monks settled in the present location, and soon after the church was constructed, more precisely between the years 1620 and 1656. In the 18th century, the property was expanded extensively to house the convent and school.

The temple is of Renaissance style of sober and elegant lines. The convent of Sant Bonaventura in Llucmajor was the penultimate founded by the Franciscan monks on Mallorca.
