The old bull fighting arena in Inca, is not a typical sight, but might go as a such, because it is used as scene for many cultural attractions.
This bull fighting arena, was opened to the public in 1910. At that time, several famous matadors staged here, such as: Cocherito de Bilbao, Mazzantinito and Regaterín.
Bull fighting in Mallorca, quickly reduced in popularity up through the 20th century, and the arena in Inca has been opened and closed several times.
The last bull fighting event here, was in 2014, but only as a single event and not a continuing happening.
Today, the arena is used as a scene for cultural events and concerts. The capacity, offers seats to some 8.000 people.
