Visit the beautiful Neo-Gothic parish church of Esporles
The parish church of Esporles, is among the newest of Mallorca, hence not much information about it.
It was a project started by Gaspar Bennàssar in 1904, and was meant to be a cadeau to the La Seu cathedral. However, the church was never finished, as you can see there is no real bell tower, and the main facade is rather naked.
The church of Sant Pere, is built as a typical basilica, with 1 nave and 12 lateral chapels separated with ribbed vaults and Neo-gothic arches.
Inauguration of the church happened in 1923.
