Traveling with kids
Are you traveling with your kids to Mallorca? If so, there’s a pretty good chance they’ll beg you for a day in a water park.
Mallorca has tree official water parks: Western Water Park (Magaluf), Aqualand el Arenal (el Arenal) and HidroPark (Alcúdia). In this article you’ll find everything you need to know about each of the water parks in Mallorca.
Expect around €30 for an adult ticket and €20 for a child.
Western Water Park is a themed water park situated on the outskirts of ever vibrant Magaluf, Calvià.
The park offers 7 fantastic water slides of which particularly the “Cola de Diablo” and “The Beast” are loved amongst adrenaline junkies. Also, introduced in 2022, is the “El Latigo”, a thrilling experience with sharp curves.
Western Water Park is divided in three main sections, all themed wild wild west. The buildings all look like something from a western movie and kids love it.
Aqualand el Arenal is the largest of the island’s three water parks. It is situated on the other side of the freeway from the popular beach destination in Platja de Palma.
Aqualand offers 11 adrenaline kicking water slides whereof especially the King Cobra, Formula Race and Kamikaze stand out.
Aqualand also have a special “Kids World” for the ones not old enough for the big daring rides. Here you will find Mallorca’s biggest playground, a mini water park and a lot of activities to keep the little ones entertained for hours.
There are plenty of activities and fun for all ages in Aqualand, enough for a full day trip.
HidroPark is situated on the outskirts of Mallorca’s probably most popular family-oriented destination, Port d’Alcúdia.
HidroPark offers 7 great slides of different variety and incline. However, most attractions in HidroPark are aimed at families with kids from 1 – 12 years-old – mostly.
Beside from the water park, there is also a great mini golf cource, a green area, sun bathing area, bars and a dedicated “mini world” for the youngest.
