According to historians, this site is linked to the first Christian worship in the area. A staircase carved out of the rock grants access to the natural cave. There are two chapels, one medieval and one gothic, with round-arched portals in the main hall dedicated to Sant Martí and Sant Jordi respectively. They were built after the Catalan conquest during the 13th and 14th centuries.
