Located in the heart of Mallorca, about a fifty minute drive from the airport, at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains, we find the village of Binibona with the nearest neighboring villages of Caimari and Moscari just a few kilometers away.
Binibona does not take up much space on the map, nevertheless the village is home to one of Mallorca’s most reputable restaurants and offers manor and finca holidays of the finest character. Binibona is also a popular stopover for hikers, cyclists and other sports enthusiasts, on their way up or down the scenic mountains.

VISIT SANTUARI DE LLUC
One of the major attractions of Mallorca, is the monastery of Lluc that for centuries has been a destination for pilgrims traveling to the island to pay homage to the holy Madonna of this place. Lluc is famous for its choir school, which is the oldest and finest of its kind in Europe. Every Sunday morning at the 11 o’clock mass, you can enjoy a concert sung by the children of the choir school who lives on the monastery. Lluc is also home to a series of other very interesting and beautiful things, such as the ethnological museum exhibiting life on the island throughout times. Also important, is to see the holy Madonna that legend has it was found in the mountains and considered a sign from above to start the monastery. Lluc is easily reachable from Binibona via the neighboring village of Caimari from where you can drive along the mountain roads or walk following the medieval pilgrimage path that was originally laid in the 14th century.

If you choose Binibona as your holiday base, there is a good chance that you know what good quality is. Not far from Binibona, you will find the city of Inca, a place home to some of the best restaurants and cellers in the region, as well as a vibrant shopping life and one of the best bakeries. Inca is the biggest production area of shoes and leather goods on the Balearic islands, and you can find amazing quality at good prices by shopping directly from the factories’ shops. If you choose to visit Inca on a Thursday, you can experience the biggest market on the island with hundreds of stalls selling everything from electronic to local delicacies. Inca is a wonderful city that awaits your visit, and surely you will fall for it.

If you are here between late January and start March, you can look forward to a natural phenomenon, the blossom of the almond trees.
