FAQ

The name Cala Millor actually translates into best/better beach. The almost 2 km wide sandy beach is one of the best on the east coast of Mallorca, with clear shallow waters and plenty of space.

Cala Millor offers plenty of lively nightlife, with bars and clubs.

Along the sunny promenade and on the main street behind it, you’ll find a wide selection of shops offering everything from international fashion brands to jewelry and perfumes.

Cala Millor is located approx. 72 km (~45 miles) from Palma International Airport (PMI).

A taxi will cost ca. 85 euro and takes about 50 minutes.

The airport bus (A42) is about 15 euro and takes approx. 1:30 hour.

Cala Millor is by far the largest beach destination of the east coast, and specifically developed to cater summer tourists.

Cala d’Or, on the other hand, started as a summer residence neighborhood and has later devloped with hotels etc. Cala d’Or has 7 small golden beaches rather than 1 big.

The adjacent destination of Cala Bona is slightly more laid back.

This one is complicated. See, Cala Millor does actually belong to both Sant Llorenc and Son Servera municipaly, and you can therefore argue that it does have an old town to visit – two actually. Son Servera village is perhaps the most charming one of them, with the unique Església Nova church ad the small square. Visit on a market day and I’m sure you’ll find it cute.
