Dolphin Watching & Sunrise Coast Cruise with Guide from Alcúdia
From: €65
Coll Baix is an unspoiled natural area at the feet of the Alcanada peninsula outside Alcúdia. You begin this hiking route from Port d’Acúdia, from where you enter Alcanada. It is a very beautiful hike, that takes you through some amazing natural spaces with stunning views over the Alcúdia bay.
This wonderful hiking route wanders along the so called dry-stone-walled tracks (marges), very common on the island. Only a few kilometres after beginning the route, you’ll walk through a natural area among pine groves that will lead you to another spectacular place in Alcúdia, the beach of Es Coll Baix (Platja de Coll Baix). This wonderful area, is known for its unspoiled nature and its tranquil and scenic ambience. You will have to take a swim or at least sit down and relax here for a refreshment while you inhale the fresh unpolluted air.
At this point you can continue the trip to Sa Talaia, the highest peak in Alcúdia. and then on to the medieval watchtower and lookout of Penya des Migdia. Both routes can only be done by hiking or walking, which makes it a very tranquil and scenic experience. Also, do not forget to visit the 17th century hermitage of Victoria, a very peaceful place on the other side of the Alcanada peninsule, that offers the most beautiful views of the Pollensa bay.
